Special areas of interest include:

Adolescent work 12 years to 18 years:
With over 17 years experience working with adolescents and their families, I have particular expertise in assisting families and youth struggling with parent-child conflict, peer relationships, school relationships, learning disorders, juvenile probation and issues involved in Kinship Care, particularly grandparents raising grandchildren.

Transitional age youth work:
I have many years of experience working with young adults struggling to adjust to new found independence, separation from family, relationship issues, adjustment to college and/or the work world and developing independent living skills.

School Consultation:
I have over 17 years experience working with schools in creating programs to best meet the mental health needs of students. I have years of working knowledge and understanding of California special education programs including  Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS/AB3632), Individual Education Plans (IEP's) and have extensive experience working in partnership with the schools.
