I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in working with transitional-age youth and adults. Those adjusting to significant life transitions, such as leaving home, attending college, building careers, dealing with relationships, parenthood, empty-nest syndrome, and retirement, may experience distress and benefit from psychotherapy. In my experience, individuals can make better life choices, create positive change in their lives, and navigate life transitions by gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and their emotions. Building a strong therapeutic connection within a safe environment allows one to begin the process of understanding oneself, thus creating clarity in one's thoughts and feelings. This understanding can effect change and acceptance of oneself and others.
